Sewn 100% in Minnesota. The V2 Northrune Pant is the next evolution of our original pant, updated with refined details and thoughtful improvements.
Version 1.6 — November 10, 2025
Northrune Patch Update
Updated from 2-inch patch to 2.5-inch patch featuring the new brand name Northrune.
New branding officially took effect on November 3, 2025.
The Northrune V2 Pant is version 2 of our original Northrune Pant. It starts with the same crepe double-knit fabric as our original—because that fabric works. It’s the base of our best-selling pant for a reason. The V2 isn’t a replacement. It’s an option.
The biggest change is the removal of the double-layer knee fabric. We chose to offer the pant without it to create a more versatile and functional version—something that works across more environments, more seasons, and more daily use cases. That was the purpose from the start. Function first.
These pants aren’t designed around trends or what’s popular at the moment. They aren’t built to chase what’s “hot.” They’re designed with long-term wear in mind, and they’re made completely differently than most pants on the market.
Along with removing the double-layer knee, we made a few key refinements. The inseam has been increased by one inch for each size, and we removed half an inch of fabric from the leg length to create a more tapered, cleaner silhouette. The goal wasn’t to change the identity of the pant—it was to improve how it fits and wears over time.
The V2 still features our signature cargo pockets, a single back pocket, and the Northrune patch on the cargo flap. Those elements stayed because they serve a purpose. Nothing is there by accident.
We’ve sent out hundreds and hundreds of Northrune Pants. Every version, every size, every use case has taught us something. We listen closely to customer feedback, real-world wear, and how the pants actually perform—not how they look in a studio. The V2 is the result of that process.
Each pair still takes over 100+ steps to make. From cutting fabric to sewing to final finishing, everything is done 100% in Minnesota by us. No outsourcing. No shortcuts. Just a refined version of what we already believe in.
That’s the Northrune V2 Pant.
