Greatest Pants Ever

Awesome pants from a rocking small business. I bought two pairs 8 months ago and came back to buy three more pairs! They have travelled with me from The North Shore of Lake Superior to the Tropics of Costa Rica. Easy to wear - secure pockets. Everything thought out as to where it needs to be. Customer service is second to none! Do yourself a favor and buy TWO pair on your initial order! You will be glad you did.

Great Pants - Highly Recommend

I bought the Original Northrune Pants V2 in black (size L) and I’m really happy with them.

The material feels great—soft but still durable—and they have a nice stretch to them. The fit is just right for me. Super comfortable and seem to be warm enough for cooler temperatures during colder months.

One thing I really appreciated was the customer service. William was super responsive throughout the whole process and kept me updated on the status of my order, which made everything feel smooth and reliable.

The Northrune stories:

In early April 2026, we launched something new—a repair program.

Instead of throwing away a worn or damaged Northrune product, you can now send it back to us, and we’ll repair it using the same machines and process we used to make it. Not long after launching, we received our first repair request. A customer reached out about a tear forming on the cargo pocket of his Northrune Pant. He sent the pants back to us, and once we had them in hand, we didn’t just repair the issue—we studied it.

We reinforced the pocket, but more importantly, we identified what caused the failure.

From that, we made a permanent improvement:

All future cargo pockets are now constructed with three additional stitches for extra durability.

This wasn’t just a repair—it made the product better.

We sent the pants back, fully restored and stronger than before.

The Northrune stories:

Over the several years we’ve been in business, as you might expect, things go well most of the time—but sometimes things go sideways, often out of our control.

This first story begins in the winter of 2024. A customer ordered a pair of our pants, and a few weeks later, we sent out a review request email. Around 11:30 PM that night, we received our first 3-star review. The customer explained that they loved the pants but had ordered the wrong size—the cuff was too tight, and they should have ordered a larger pair.

That night, we responded immediately. We corrected the situation and sent them a larger pair the very next morning, which they received shortly after. A few days later, the customer updated their review:

“Honorable Founder. I wrote a review indicating a size issue, and he, without prompt or plea, decided to send me a size up free of charge. Good man, will buy more from here.” — Brian

Disclaimer: Every customer experience is unique. In this case, we covered the replacement free of charge due to the specific situation and don’t expect the same to happen in every scenario.

The Northrune stories:

In November 2024, right around Black Friday, we were talking with a woman from Wisconsin named Madison. She told us she loved her Northrnr Pants but was going through one of the hardest times of her life — her brother was battling cancer and didn’t have much time left.

It was the middle of a cold Wisconsin November, and as she shared her story, she mentioned how her brother was always freezing. Hearing that So, without a second thought, we put together a care box for Madison and her brother. Inside were warm Northrnr pieces, sent completely free of charge, hoping to bring them even a small bit of comfort during such a difficult time.

The Northrune stories:

This story takes place in the summer of 2025. A customer reached out with a unique request — they wanted the Northrune Pants in Charcoal with a custom inseam and waist.

On top of that, they were leaving for a year-long mission trip and needed the pants within just a few days.

After a good phone call and some careful planning, we assured the customer: “We can make this happen for you.” We ended up turning the order around the same day, shipped it out, and the customer received it before their trip.
