Our Mission: At Northrune, we combine unique in-house sewing techniques with durable, hand-crafted fabrics, sewn 100% in Minnesota by us, to create clothing for outdoor enthusiasts and everyday explorers. Every piece is made to be worn, explored in, and lived in, standing against fast fashion while delivering purpose, adventure, and lasting quality — inspiring people to get outside and experience the world.

Our Mission: At Northrune, we sew every single clothing item by us in Minnesota, from cutting the fabric to the final stitch—everything is done by us. We create clothing that is inspired by the outdoors and designed with purpose for those who explore.

Learning the Craft

Over the next few years, we added an embroidery machine, an $80 sewing machine, a heat press, and a vinyl cutter. Slowly, we began teaching ourselves how to sew clothing. It didn’t happen overnight—when I say it took a second, I mean it took over a year.

Upgrading Our

Now, everything is done in-house by us, with fabric sourced from New York and Los Angeles. We’ve upgraded from our $80 starter machine to Singer overlocks, Juki high-speed industrial sewing machines, and a powerful embroidery machine that delivers flawless detail. These upgrades allow us to create stronger seams, cleaner finishes, and longer-lasting products—all still sewn entirely by us in Minnesota.

Greatest Pants Ever

Awesome pants from a rocking small business. I bought two pairs 8 months ago and came back to buy three more pairs! They have travelled with me from The North Shore of Lake Superior to the Tropics of Costa Rica. Easy to wear - secure pockets. Everything thought out as to where it needs to be. Customer service is second to none! Do yourself a favor and buy TWO pair on your initial order! You will be glad you did.

Great Pants - Highly Recommend

I bought the Original Northrune Pants V2 in black (size L) and I’m really happy with them.

The material feels great—soft but still durable—and they have a nice stretch to them. The fit is just right for me. Super comfortable and seem to be warm enough for cooler temperatures during colder months.

One thing I really appreciated was the customer service. William was super responsive throughout the whole process and kept me updated on the status of my order, which made everything feel smooth and reliable.
