The Northrune Hiking Pant — mid-weight Dryflex 4-way stretch woven fabric, engineered for performance, comfort, and durability. Featuring Dryflex technology, this fabric delivers breathable flexibility with moisture-wicking management to help regulate heat and keep you dry during movement and changing conditions.

These pants feature our new Northrune construction technology, incorporating 10 strategic cut-and-sewn, overlocked, and top-stitched reinforcement points designed for comfort, squatting, kneeling, and real-world practicality. Two are placed on the outer upper hip/glute area, two on the upper leg, and two at the back of the knee bend. The remaining four are positioned closely across the front of the knee. These design points were developed through field testing to identify stress areas and improve durability, movement, and user performance.

Finished with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating, the fabric sheds light rain and moisture while maintaining a soft, flexible feel. Built-in UV50+ protection helps shield you from harmful sun exposure, making it ideal for long days outdoors. The 92% polyester and 8% spandex blend provides a strong yet adaptive structure with natural stretch for hiking, travel, and everyday wear, while the mid-weight 165 GSM construction balances durability with lightweight comfort.

Designed to perform across environments — from trails to travel — the fabric moves with the body while holding shape and resisting wear. Sewn 100% in Minnesota by us, each pant is built with purpose, precision, and real-world testing in mind.

I bought the Original Northrune Pants V2 in black (size L) and I’m really happy with them.
